CENTRE FOR RESEARCH ON EVOLUTION SEARCH & TESTING
Department of Computer Science

The CREST is the Centre for Research on Evolution, Search and Testing. The Centre is part of the Department of Computer Science in the School of Physical Science and Engineering at King's College London. We are located in the main Strand Campus of King's College, near the chapel and great hall, occupying a suite of eight offices and a lab. Details of the CREST staff and current projects are available on this website.

The CREST specialises in the testing and evolution of software, with an aim of making these activities better, faster and cheaper; primarily through automated and semi-automated techniques. CREST members are well known for their work on source code analysis & manipulation, search-based software engineering, software testing, maintenance & reverse engineering, and service-oriented software engineering.

The centre works in close collaboration with many other national & international universities, and is proud of its strong links to the industrial and business sectors. We regularly provide consultancy services to industry, government and business, details of which are available here
